Spices InfographicIf I had more time to explore ideas, I'd be turning these out all the time. I tried to turn a verbose monthly healthy living message sent to hospital staff into an appealing and shareable graphic.
Breast Cancer Awareness for Social MediaAs I approached 40, I realized that I'm now old enough for the technology I grew up with to be obsolete and old enough to need an annual mammogram. Women in their early 40s tend to be less compliant in getting their screenings, but most cancer screening materials aren't targeting Generation X. Designed to resemble "Only 1980s kids remember" memes, the image uses nostalgia to convey a simple message.
Redesign: Social Media E-SignThis sign is shown throughout the hospital common areas -- for years the bottom slide was in place and, one day, I decided it was time for an update to make it more consistent with our style, colors and fonts, and to make it easier to take in for the 15 seconds the slide appears on screen.
Services Recruitment Infographic2015: This poster for a nurse recruitment event turned out well for a rush request. I always see things I could improve whenever I look at something I've made. If I made this today, I'd be a little more adventurous with the grid; I'd tie 243 and "years of total experience" together visually; and I'd make the icons smaller so that they're not threatening to bust out of their boxes.
